I couldn't put the book down! I finished in a day. I can't say that I was thrilled with the ending!! To me Bastien was the one that should've been by her side in the epilogue. I always felt Eamon was more possessive than helpful. I hope the third book corrects that.
Amy is an author that I recently found out about through other authors I follow. The Rising Trilogy is the second series I have read by her and she NEVER fails to keep me captivated with her plots and storylines. I CANNOT wait until the next book in this series is released - I believe sometime around the end of April.
This book picked up with where the first left off but i was bored reading the first half. The book did not get good until Bastien arrived in the story line. Not as captivating as the first but still a great read and the ending makes you want to download the last one.
I just went through an emotional roller coaster. I was happy, sad, and angry all in the same sentence at times. Love triangles are complicated. I still don't know which way I want to see this trilogy end. I love the way Amy Miles writes her scenes. I feel as though I am Illyria and am really in these battles.
Another good book in this series! I've already purchased the next book and am reading it already. I forgot to review this earlier. This series just keeps you guessing!!
I've been dying to get my hands on this book, almost since the moment I started the first book of this trilogy. The ups and downs left me on an emotional roller coaster, that I'm still reeling from!!! And the ending..../sigh. That was something I didn't see happening! I'm going to be on pins & needles, waiting for the third installment. Thanks Amy, once again for another fantastical story!
Wow, I do not know what to really say. This book was very detailed, and amazing that I thoroughly enjoy every minute. Even the ending of the book, took my breath away that urge me to continue reading the last and final book. It is really amazing book, and the author so much detail into the work that you picture everything in your mind like you are watching the movie.
