In this book two friends, Karen and Lennie talk about stealing. Karen decides that Lennie does not need all his candy so she decides to steal some of it. As with other books in the series, the author defines the negative behavior, explains the possible causes and effects of the behavior and suggests how the child might replace it with positive behavior. So instead of berating a child, the author talks about why the behavior is not the best choice, how the other person feels, and suggests what you should do to remedy whatever harm has been done. Pictures are done in cartoon format with speech bubbles. In this kindle edition, some impact is lost because the pictures are so small. This book was nicely written. It teaches why and what for. It is a great book for the young audience.
I bought this book to help my daughters to understand difficult subject as stealing.
I was surprised how great book it is! Author explains with simple language what stealing is, why some people are doing it and why it is bad. My girls enjoyed this book and they really loved the illustrations!
